You can expect the electric motors to produce 40% more power than the previous generation motors, and the battery pack will be expanded from 13.8 kWh to 20 kWh this year. Due to other enhancements to the powertrain and drivetrain, the Outlander PHEV should have a larger gas tank to increase the total range and get a better all-electric driving range.
Technology Features
Since the Outlander PHEV will have standard options that equate to the higher trims of the regular Outlander, it's likely to get standard technology offerings such as a 9-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a 7-inch instrument cluster display. Higher trims of the Outlander PHEV should get enhancements for technology that will bring larger displays and more premium features.
Safety Features
